Bombers Bits Square Twisted Snaffle Full Cheek Bit

The Square Twisted Snaffle Full Cheek is popular because it is a curved mouthpiece. As a result, it spreads pressure more evenly over tongue and bars.

With the offset centre link it will decrease nutcracker action and pressure points on the tongue. The Square Twist will create more pressure points on the mouthpiece which will make it stronger than the Round Twist and Smooth.

The Fulmer, or commonly known as the Full Cheek cheek piece, will have the same effect as the traditional Eggbutt in so much as, it will stop pinching on the sides of the mouth, however the elongated pins above and below the bit, firstly restrict the bit being pulled through the mouth and secondly have the effect of guiding the horses head which is great for schooling and training objectives.

Additionally, all bomber bits are made from blue sweet iron, because it:

• Oxidises easily.
• Stimulates salivation.
• Helps bit acceptance.
• Is warm and sweet.
