The Grackle noseband from Kincade helps to prevent the horse crossing on the jaw when the bit is coming under increased rein tension and so the horse tries to evade compliance by crossing the jaw to lodge the bit between the molar teeth in a fixed position, compatible with use on any kincade bridle, a grackle nose band fastens higher up the jaw below the cheek. The grackle noseband is designed to counter this evasion.
