MB04 Myler Low Port Comfort Snaffle Plain Eggbutt - Level 2

The MB04 is one of the most popular horses mouth pieces in the Myler range and is a level 2 Myler system bit.

A  small, ¾ inch port for tongue relief. The bit design has a  wrapping action (no pinch or nutcracker). Independent Side Movement allows the rider the opportunity maintain natural lift through the shoulder independently on each side. The MB04 acts on the tongue and the bars of the mouth while the port design still leaves space for the tongue to be accommodated, gently wrapping around the lips due to its ergonomic design. This encourages the horse to flex, balance & relax through the jaw line. 

The MB04 is ideal for a young horse as much as it is suitable for many other horses, its use is designed to encourage the horse to move with the bit in harmony in a relaxed outline. The MB04 low port comfort snaffle wraps around the outer lip as opposed to cutting into it which is so common with a conventional snaffle due to the nut cracker effect and the lack of ergonomic shape.

Especially good for horses that try and take the rein from the rider and run through the riders hands as they try an escape the increasing tongue pressure as the rider tries to hold them back, which is often due to a lack of tongue space which does not encourage acceptance of the bit.
