The Turtle Top with Flex loose ring snaffle bit is a double jointed bit design with enhanced mouthpiece stability, The Turtle Top link as it is known is a smaller link than the lozenge type bit and through the optimised alignment of the mouthpiece surfaces to the tongue and palate it concentrates the overall bit action more closely throughout the mouth surfaces.

This flattened dome shaped link lowers palate pressure instances and prevents the cannons from being pushed upwards above the link by the horses tongue. The Neue Schule Flex design concept delivers a guaranteed and well controlled alignment of the surfaces of the mouthpiece with the sensitive surfaces of the equine mouth.

The Flex Z design delivers parallel alignment of the Turtle Top dome with the equine palate. FlexZ is a derivative design of the Neue Schule tranz range, and is therefore more securely centred on the tongue and more resistant to being pulled through the mouth.

The Loose Ring is Neue Schule's uncomplicated tried and trusted cheek. No matter what your rein tension the mouthpiece alignment to the mouth remains unchanged. The flattened underside of the Flex cannons with their anatomy-inspired recesses are held parallel to the tongue.
