Prolite Pony Multi Riser Pad - Thin Shims

Temporary saddle-fit alteration - Comes with one set of thin shims and more can be purchased separately. 

The pad has shim pockets front and back to allow for the placement of shims that are cut to shape in different thicknesses.

A versatile, saddle adjustment pad, featuring Prolite® inserts that can be used or removed as necessary to alter the depth at the front or rear of the saddle to improve the saddle balance. Too much width in the front of the saddle will cause saddle drop at the front and reduce wither clearance, and the back of the saddle will lift,

Using the thick shims at the front pockets means the saddle size can be reduced by up to one gullet width size. If the saddle is low at the back due to a rear gusset being too small using the pad with rear pocket shims will lift the saddle up and into balance, this will prevent too much pressure at the back fo the saddle panel and even the panel pressure out.

Use it without any inserts as a standard Relief Pad. A practical choice for a youngster that’s developing or changing, or to improve a saddles fit on a temporary basis.
