Safety Wear
Safety wear is designed to reduce the impact caused by injuries as a result of a fall from a horse which can be quite significant depending on how and what surface or structure you encounter during the fall.
Upper body injury to the head (riding hats are covered under the riding hats category), and also the neck shoulder, collar bone, torso and rib cage as well as the back which are the most common areas affected. Body Protectors and shoulder guards can substantially reduce the recovery times involved and in some cases protect vital organs during impact or a crush from a rotational fall. We have a range of back protectors and shoulder guards made by Charles Owen owner of the Airowear brand, and Champion body protectors.
