Sprenger Novocontact Eggbutt snaffle bit with D-shaped rings is ergonomically profiled to widen the contact surface on the tongue and the single joint is minimised to improve acceptance by the horses tongue minimising any potential joint pinching as the joint angle reduces under rein tension. The eggbutt side rings ensure comfort especially useful for horse that have large lips or soft plump lips which are protected from any pinching that could happen using an alternative loose ring bit.  As the rider gives a rein aid the mouthpiece turns forward and the contact surface gets narrower, ensuring more precise and effective communication. The Novocontact snaffle bit is designed to improve the interaction between horse and rider for a better contact and acceptance of the bit.
